Air Force announces winners of this year’s DAF art contest

The Air Force Services Center recently announced the winners of this year’s Air Force Art Contest. More than 2,240 pieces of art submitted from over 1,600 participants of all ages who used a variety of media. After the month-long contest closed March 31, a team of judges evaluated each entrant’s artwork for impact, creativity and technical criteria in adult and youth categories. (U.S. Air Force Graphic)

Air Force Gaming season 3 launches with new competition format

For two seasons, since it debuted, the inaugural DAF Gaming League has steadily added participants. More than 25,000 Total Force gamers participate, to include active-duty Airmen and Guardians, the Guard and Reserve, as well as Defense Department civilians. Air Force Gaming season 3 launches with new competition format

The Department of the Air Force Gaming League is back with a new format and a new league for family members and retirees. The new format consists of three unique seasons – spring, summer and fall, expanding opportunities for more competitors to participate. With the success of the DAF League, and based on customer requests, AFSVC officials decided to expand the program by adding a second league, called the Minor League. Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center

The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center are located in Colorado Springs, where Airman and Guardian Olympians will have a new home , as the Department of the Air Force will be relocating the World Class Athlete and Air Force Shooting programs to Colorado. Application window opens for Olympic hopefuls

The application window for Airmen, Guardians, Reservists and Guardsmen who dream of Olympic competition is now open. Athletes can begin applying to begin their training with the hopes of competing in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. Air Force WCAP athletes train full-time in their given sport, they are also required to complete all mandatory tasks required of all Airmen. Application period will be open for the next 45 days.
