2023 I-WEPTAC logo

The Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center has announced its 2023 Installation and Mission Support Weapons and Tactics Conference topics, and four Mission Area Working Groups are well on their way to finding solutions to the Department of the Air Force’s biggest agile combat support challenges. Held annually, I-WEPTAC examines fundamental installation and mission support challenges to identify deficiencies, shortfalls and developmental gaps that limit DAF’s ability to execute and operate efficiently. Outdoor Recreation Training Beta Test

Participants and instructors in the new outdoor recreation programmers course bike in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The new 14-day, in-residence course was tested at the U.S. Air Force Academy July 30 – Aug. 12, by representatives from 10 installations. The new course is set to be delivered to installation outdoor rec employees in 2024 and covers swift water rescue, mountain biking, climbing, wilderness first aid and Leave No Trace. Mission Monday: HVAC Equipment Management

Meet Gabriel Perez, a heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment specialist with the Air Force Civil Engineer Center’s Operations Directorate. Eglin Air Force Base

Students at the Underwater Ordnance Division of Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal work to break surface ice and set ordnance on the bottom of Weekly Bayou at Eglin Air Force Base. The ordnance is being placed to test their ability to remotely remove it from the seabed.
