The Air Force Installation & Mission Support Center’s Detachment 5 is located at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. It is known as “America’s Airfield” and home to Air Force One.

It is from there that AFIMSC’s Detachment 5 assists the 11th Wing with ongoing and extensive infrastructure recapitalization programs for the Air Force District of Washington. The Det team provides the expertise required for executing significant construction projects.
