Former Chanute AFB restoration advisory board member Dr. Ian Wang speaks to Col. Kathryn Kilker, Air Force Civil Engineer Center Installations Deputy Director, following a whole base transfer cerebration Oct. 25. Wang, an Oxford-trained physician, volunteered for the advisory board when it was established in 1994 because he felt it was his responsibility to use his knowledge to ensure the success of the base’s restoration operations.
