628th FSS Airmen feed the force
Senior Airman Joshua Cruz, 628th Force Support Squadron dining facility shift leader, cuts and stores vegetables at the Robert D. Gaylor Dining Facility at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., Nov. 2, 2020. Airmen and civilians who work at the dining facility work as part of a seven to 12 member team and serve meals to approximately 300 personnel during lunch hours. 628th FSS members ensure service members and civilians are fed at Joint Base Charleston, but feeding the force is just one mission that the FSS team is responsible for. The four core areas of services are food service, lodging, readiness, and fitness and sports.
