Air Force gathers innovators for Tyndall rebuild
Col. Jefferson Hawkins, Tyndall Air Force Base 325th Fighter Wing Vice Commander, leads a discussion during a recent workshop at the AFWERX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada, June 25-26. With over 50 attendees participating, this was to assist with finding innovative solutions to move Tyndall AFB, Florida, forward as they rebuild as the 21st Century installation of the future. The two-day workshop allowed Air Force and industry to connect with innovators to help understand smart technologies and acquisition, communications, resiliency and cybersecurity to accelerate the rebuild.
