Senior Airman Lance Egan finishes replacing a blown speaker in a giant voice system Aug. 13, 2008, at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. The speaker was only producing 4/5 the normal power hindering the range it can be heard from. The radio maintenance shop conducts preventive maintenance inspections on every giant voice system to ensure it works properly when needed to inform base populace.
