Community Commons brings activities for Airmen under one roof

Among the amenities that resulted of the Community Commons transformation at Joint Base Andrews was a game room. The project also introduced Airmen to one-stop shopping, said Col. Dean Hartman, the former mission support group commander who is now the planning and integration director for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center. “Once they have it, they’re like ‘Wow. I can go to ITT. I can check out stuff. I can get tickets. I can get some food,’ ” Hartman said.
