Airman 1st Class Robert Siegmann, 99th Security Forces Squadron, secured a simulated active shooter’s weapons after subduing the suspect during a base exercise at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., May 12, 2016. The exercise tested the readiness and procedures of the base with different sets of scenarios and challenges with May 12 serving as the pinnacle of the exercise as it simulated a multi-location large scale attack.
