Destruction before renewal

Airman 1st Class Alex Redden cuts through a corroded support beam while removing a damaged roof April 24, 2014, at Yokota Air Base, Japan. The roof, which was damaged during the past winter's heavy snowfall, was removed to prevent possible injury and allow dormitory residents access to their bicycle lot.
