Base volunteers read stories to children about Martin Luther King Jr. during the MLK book reading at the Child Development Center Jan. 14.

The CDC assigned each volunteer a classroom based off of the children’s age group. Each volunteer then read a book relative to the children’s reading skill level.

Goodfellow held the event to celebrate the observed birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. and to educate children on the impact of his life.
