Air Force Services Activity has extended its popular Club Frenzy UFC Fight Night program.

Watch parties featuring an Ultimate Fighting Championship pay-per-view fight and a special menu will be held at participating Air Force Clubs for UFC 193 on Nov. 14 and UFC 194 on Dec. 12.

“The UFC Fight Frenzy is one of the most successful pilot programs that we have brought to our members. It is because of this that we extended the PPV opportunity for two additional fight events in November and December,” said Bill Spencer, chief, Air Force Food and Beverage Division.

“All Club locations have an opportunity to participate if they elect to. We look forward to continue bringing this program and others to our members; providing value for club membership while maintaining the tradition and heritage that accompanies being a member of Air Force Clubs.  Air Force Clubs ... Where Tradition Lives," said Spencer.

Three UFC fighters attended the Oct. 3 Fight Night: Welterweight Neil Magny watched the bouts at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska; welterweight Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson was at Keesler Air Force Base,  Mississippi; and lightweight Myles Jury was at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona.

“The UFC 192 fighter viewing parties were the best visits we have had!  This goes for all three bases we had the pleasure to visit. The fighters and UFC staff enjoyed the opportunity to give back to the Airmen at Air Force clubs and if the opportunity presented itself, we’d do it again,” said Aimee Levine, UFC commercial relations coordinator.

On his Twitter account, Magny, an Army veteran, posted, “Watching #UFC192 on an AFB brings back so many memories.”  Jury also posted to Twitter: “Hanging with the U.S. #AirForce watching #UFC192 at the @DMAFB! Always a great time hanging with US Military! #UFC”

UFC Fight Frenzy is part of Club Frenzy, an umbrella program that began in May. It also includes Family Frenzy and Football Frenzy. Each program targets a different audience and offers free admission and prize opportunities for club members.  Nonmembers may attend for a nominal entry fee.

Based in San Antonio, Texas, AFSVA delivers services programs and activities to build and sustain ready and resilient Airmen and families.
