Air Force Club’s Football Frenzy program is warming up for the 2015-2016 football season with events and prizes for Airmen, civilians, and families around the world.

Now a part of this year’s pilot “Club Frenzy” program, clubs participating in Football Frenzy will host Thursday night football games for members and non-members with special menus, camaraderie, and the chance for prizes.  In addition to Football Frenzy, Club Frenzy includes Fight Frenzy and Family Frenzy programs.

“It’s a place where Airmen and families can come and watch the game,” said Sally Truhitte, Football Frenzy program manager at Air Force Services Activity, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. While the program is open to everyone, she added that it’s particularly convenient for dorm Airmen. “Not everybody has a TV or can pay the extra cost for the games not already on regular TV. They can come to a safe place – keep them on base, keep them all together.”

The new Football Frenzy program will be offered at up to 45 Air Force installations around the world this year, offering a tailgate menu of appetizers, sliders, burgers, and other hand-held cookout fare, large-screen televisions, and the chance to enjoy games with friends and win prizes.

In addition to gift cards and smaller giveaways, 20 club members – 10 each from east and west regions – will win grand prizes of two regular season NFL game tickets, each, to the game of their choice for the next season.

“All grand prizes are only for current and new club members” said Truhitte, “but anyone can sign up at the event to join, and everyone who comes to an event is eligible for prizes like gift cards.”

The program will run for 14 Thursday night games and grand prize submissions must be made by Jan 29, 2016.  Football Frenzy events are available to everyone who has access to Air Force Clubs for more information, call your local club or visit MyAirForceLife.com/clubs.
