National Library Week 2015, April 12-18, seeks to show communities that there are "Unlimited Possibilities @ Your Library.”

Whether your installation has a library, or is supported by your community library system, take some time April 12-18 to visit and learn about the abundance of information resources, media and games available.

To commemorate this event and communicate the value of libraries, base libraries will host a variety of local programs and contests.

Events may include:

National Library Workers Day, scheduled for April 14, where stellar library workers will be recognized by leadership, their peers and customers.

Teen Literature Day is scheduled for April 16, which will be used to highlight the variety of young-adult literature available for today's teens.

The Air Force Library Office is also sponsoring a National Library Week display and program photo contest.  The top three libraries will receive a special prize!  For more information, on submitting photos on your program for the contest, email afsva.svxl@us.af.mil.
