Air Force selects top talent for premier entertainment showcase

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas --

Thirty seven Airmen from across the Air Force were recently selected for 2015 Tops In Blue; the service’s premier entertainment showcase.

This year’s team began their 60-day training period on March 23 at JBSA-Lackland and looks forward to hitting the road for the 2015 global tour. The tour begins in mid-May and runs through late December. A tour schedule will be available at https://www.usafservices.com/TopsInBlue.aspx later this spring.
 
With its first tour in 1953, Tops In Blue is one of the oldest and most widely traveled entertainment groups of its kind.  

Congratulations to the following Tops In Blue members:  

Staff Sgt. Brandon Armagost, 4th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina. Armagost is a member of Air Combat Command and is a technician and lighting team member.

Airman 1st Class Ariana Bonnit, 99th Medical Operations Squadron, Nellis AFB, Nevada. Bonnit is a vocalist with ACC.

Staff Sgt. Ronald Brooks, 56th LRS, Luke AFB, Arizona. Brooks is with Air Education and Training Command and is a vehicle operator. 

Airman 1st Class Rashaun Carter, 58th Operations Support Squadron, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. Carter is a vocalist with AETC.

Senior Airman Kenny Casaverde, 802nd Force Support Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Casaverde is a bass player with AETC.

First Lt. Oliver Chang, Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, California. Chang plays keyboards and violin and is with Air Force Space Command.

Airman 1st Class Christine Marie David, 96th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida. David is a vocalist with Air Force Materiel Command.  

Airman 1st Class Steffanee Davis, 56th AMS, Luke AFB, Arizona. Davis is a trumpet player with AETC. 

Airman 1st Class Brier Depriest, 608th Air Communications Squadron, Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. Depriest is a vocalist with Air Force Global Strike Command. 

Airman 1st Class Mitchell Dixon, 4th Component Maintenance Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina. Dixon is a vocalist with ACC. 

First Lt. Ethan Frazier, 21st FSS, Peterson AFB, Colorado. Frazier is a technical director with AFSPC.

Airman 1st Class Jose Garcia, 436th FSS, Dover AFB, Delaware. Garcia is a technician and audio specialist with Air Mobility Command. 

Senior Airman Mathew Guajardo, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, United Kingdom. Guajardo is a dancer and vocalist with U.S. Air Forces in Europe.

Senior Airman Mason Hack, 52nd LRS, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. Hack is a vehicle operator with USAFE.

Staff Sgt. Brooke Hairston, 743rd Intelligence Support Squadron, JBSA-Lackland, Texas. Hairston is a vocalist with AETC.

Senior Airman Christopher Hayes, 96th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida.  Hayes is a technician and staging specialist with AFMC. 

Staff Sgt. Alli Haynes, 325th OSS, Tyndall AFB, Florida. Haynes is a vocalist with ACC. 

Senior Airman Trenton Hays, 28th AMS, Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. Hays is a guitar player with ACC.

Airman 1st Class Ethan Helgager, 51st Combat Communications Squadron, Robins AFB, Georgia. Helgager is a technician and audio specialist with AFSPC.

Senior Airman Jeremy Karcher, 779th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, Joint Base Andrews-Naval Air Facility, Maryland. Karcher is a vocalist with the Air Force District of Washington.

Staff Sgt. Kennesha Key, 86th Vehicle Readiness Squadron, Ramstein AB, Germany. Key is a vocalist with USAFE.

Second Lt. Natalie Lane, 1st Special Operations Support Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Florida. Lane is a trombone player with Air Force Special Operations Command.

Staff Sgt. Steven Lucas, 496th Air Base Squadron, Moron AB, Spain.  Lucas is a vocalist with USAFE.

Senior Airman Cordero Nichols, 32nd Intelligence Squadron, Fort Meade, Maryland. Nichols is a vocalist with the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency. 

Senior Airman Jessica Pitts, 22nd IS, Fort Meade, Maryland. Pitts is a trumpet player with AFISRA.

Airman 1st Class James Pratt, 28th CES, Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. Pratt is a vocalist with ACC. 

Second Lt. Nicque Robinson, 319th Contracting Flight, Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. Robinson is a vocalist with AMC.

Airman 1st Class Javier Rodriguez, 100th Security Forces Squadron, RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom. Rodriguez is a saxophone player with USAFE.

Second Lt. Lauren Rogers, 35th Fighter Wing, Misawa AB, Japan. Rogers is a vocalist with Pacific Air Forces.

Capt. Michael Rose, 69th Reconnaissance Group, Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. Rose is a keyboard player with ACC.

Staff Sgt. Heather Slade, 325th OSS, Tyndall AFB, Florida. Slade is a vocalist with ACC.

Senior Airman Marissa Strickland, 392nd IS, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Strickland is a dancer and bagpipes player with PACAF.

Staff Sgt. Sherita Tisdom, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Maxwell-Gunter AFB, Alabama. Tisdom is a vocalist with AFMC.
