The commander of the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (Provisional) will hold a virtual town hall meeting with San Antonio and Joint Base San Antonio officials Monday, March 9, to discuss living and working in the Alamo City.

Maj. Gen. Theresa Carter will join retired Brig. Gen. Bob Murdock, director of San Antonio Military Affairs, and Felipe Jimenez, technical director for Joint Base San Antonio and the 502nd Air Base Wing, during a live-streaming event designed to provide information to people moving to or considering a move to San Antonio to join the AFIMSC headquarters team.

The headquarters stands up in Bldg 171 at Port San Antonio, former Kelly Air Force Base, in May and will comprise 350 people when all positions are filled.

The online town hall will be especially beneficial for people outside San Antonio or unfamiliar with the city. Families are invited to “attend” the online session too.

Everyone is encouraged to view the session via one of the three event-day links below.  People can also sign up in advance using the “register now” link below.
