Into the wild; Ice Bridge closes the gap
Senior Airman Zach Harter uses a bulldozer to build an ice bridge Dec. 2, 2014, in Fairbanks, Alaska. The bridge must be constructed every other year to provide access to the $20 million range complex used to train pilots from around the world during Red Flag-Alaska exercises. Harter is a heavy equipment operator assigned to the 354th Civil Engineer Squadron on Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Joseph Swafford)
