Briefly tell us why you joined the Air Force.
I always had a passion for helping others, especially our military community.
What do you love about your job?
I love my team, and my bases. The bond we have created in the last two years is unbreakable; we went from nothing to becoming something special.
Why are you and your team important to the Department of the Air Force?
My team is important because we cater to the 10 reserve command bases. We are a smaller command but mighty.
Describe a project/event you and your team worked on recently that gave you a great sense of accomplishment:
When I came to our office it was only myself and my HRO. With very little to no guidance I was able to learn the Air Forces’ Human Resources Information System and process two retirements for two installations that required a Spanish speaker. There was a language barrier and what stopped these two employees from receiving their annuity is the language barrier and no one in the office could assist until I came.
I power the world’s greatest Air Force by…
… serving our employees and community.
Is there anything else you would like to add which might help people understand the importance of what you do for the Department of the Air Force?
Come visit our cube one day. Our mission is different. We are different and we love what we do.
