JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND-KELLY, Texas – It’s Mission Monday! This week, we shine the spotlight on Staff Sgt. Emily V. Tucker, the NCOIC for Personnel Programs in the AFIMSC Command Support Staff here.
Tucker leads a six-person team dedicated to AFIMSC Airmen and with a commitment to excellence that makes a significant impact on the Air Force. They provide vital force support operations across all of AFIMSC. They also oversee AFIMSC commander programs and advise senior leaders on personnel actions and regulations.
"I joined because my grandpa, a Marine Corps veteran, told me I'd be a good fit for the military," said Tucker, a Houston native whose family still resides there. "And when I asked what branch, he said the only answer was the Air Force!"
We asked the sergeant to tell us more about her work supporting AFIMSC Airmen worldwide.
