AFIMSC established the Natural Disaster Recovery Division within AFCEC in 2021 to focus on recovering bases hit by natural disasters – like Tyndall AFB, Florida, and Offutt AFB, Nebraska – and rebuilding them with adaptive, resilient, right-sized and fiscally sustainable infrastructure that enhances combat power.
