Airmen prepare simulated munitions during exercise
AFIMSC introdcued the concept of the Combat Support Wing duirng an annual Weapons and Tactics Conference. This concept is designed to be an on-call Agile Combat Support force of multi-functional Airmen trained and equipped to quickly establish multiple Forward Operating Locations in a non-permissive environment in order to conduct 5th Gen integrated rearm and refuel combat turns. Airmen trained and prepared for the CSW concept by participating in various Air Force specialty skills such as flightline maintenance and operations, security, communications, and other agile combat support functions.
