Quality Care and Support Services
The Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center executes quality of life programs that take care of Airmen, Guardians and their families. AFIMSC also delivers affordable, accessible and quality morale, welfare and recreation and sustainment services across the Department of the Air Force. From housing, dining services and recreation and fitness to workforce solutions, worship and travel entitlements, AFIMSC delivers services that are critical to overall wellness and readiness. These programs increase trust and transparency among Airmen, Guardians and their families, promote readiness through quality of life programs and lead to higher retention across the Air Force.
Airman, Guardian and Family Services Programs
AFIMSC meets the needs of military members and their families through successful operation of food, fitness, child development centers, youth, community, nonappropriated funds, human resources and recreational programs. AFIMSC also oversees and supports the official mail and postal program for continental United States installations. The DAF School Liaison Program strengthens the installations and their communities through advancing Pre-K-12 education to bolster retention, recruiting, readiness and the future of our military force. AFIMSC delivers global joint service integrated support and services to enhance the preparedness and effectiveness of our School Liaison Program managers, command teams and educators serving our military-connected students.
Chaplain Corps
AFIMSC provides an enterprise view of Chaplain Corps programs and services that help establish trusted connections and feed the spiritual, ethical, moral and religious needs of Airmen, Guardians and their families.
Resources Management Voucher Program
AFIMSC processes and handles payment of temporary duty and permanent change of station travel entitlements for travel performed outside of the Defense Travel System including wounded warrior travel, attaché travel, threatened member travel, travel of families of deceased active duty members and evacuee travel.
Office of the Future
Through a culture of experimentation and innovation, AFIMSC is establishing a new model for office-work that leverages cutting edge information technology to enable collaboration and flexible work in order to optimize resources, maintain connectedness and quality of life while improving mission effectiveness.
Housing and Dormitories
AFIMSC is committed to providing Airmen, Guardians and their families secure communities they are proud to call home. AFIMSC ensures Airmen, Guardians and their families have access to safe, quality homes and dormitories.
Readiness
Major Command Functional Managers and Functional Area Managers deliver responsive and integrated agile combat support training and readiness for I&MS capabilities. MFM and FAM experts evaluate personnel placements to provide global career field manpower, manning, unit type code management and force development that ensures installation leaders receive trained and mission-ready professionals.
