Colonel BRANDON H. SOKORA

Col. Brandon H. Sokora is the Director of Operations, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. He is responsible for integrating, supporting, developing, and monitoring installation and mission support capabilities across 83 Air Force and Space Force installations. He coordinates with 10 detachments and four primary subordinate units: the Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Air Force Installation Contracting Center, Air Force Security Forces Center, and Air Force Services Center.

Col. Sokora graduated from the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a career civil engineer officer who has held a variety of leadership, staff and command positions with assignments at the squadron, group, service component and Headquarters Air Force levels. Additionally, his assignments have included multiple deployments and contingency operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Prior to his current assignment, he served as the Deputy Joint Base Commander and Commander, 627th Air Base Group, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
