Chief Master Sergeant MARIA E. LLOYD

Chief Master Sergeant Maria E. Lloyd serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader, Air Force Services Center, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. As the senior enlisted leader, she directly advises and supports the commander in leading an over 750- person workforce responsible for delivering Services programs and activities to build and sustain ready, resilient Airmen, Guardians and families across the globe. The unit supports field commanders and base-level force support activity managers in providing quality food service, fitness, lodging, recreation, and child and youth programs for military personnel, civilians and their families. AFSVC is a $3.5 billion organization generating $300 million in revenue annually. In addition, the center provides Air Force human resources oversight for over 28,000 non-appropriated fund (NAF) civilian personnel at more than 100 locations worldwide, as well as central contracting support and management of the NAF capital improvement construction program and worldwide financial and banking systems.

Chief Lloyd is from Ontario, California. She enlisted in the Air Force in September 1996 as a services apprentice. Her background includes various duties at the flight, squadron and group level. Her experience encompasses mortuary affairs, readiness, food service, lodging and fitness, and she has deployed in support of Operations Pacific Haven, Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve and Iraqi Freedom.

Prior to assuming her current position, she served as the senior enlisted leader for the Air Force Services Center’s Mission Operations Directorate at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.
