Colonel Victor W. Moncrieffe II is the Commander, Detachment 1, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center. Headquartered at the Pentagon with Operating Locations at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado and Joint Base San Antonio, Texas, he serves as the AFIMSC Commander’s senior representative to Headquarters U.S. Space Force. Colonel Moncrieffe is responsible for an operating budget of over 500 million dollars and leads a staff of 25 military and civilian subject matter experts who manage enterprise-wide assets worth $20 billion while providing critical installation and mission support to the 37,500 Guardians and Airmen assigned to locations across the globe.
A 1994 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colonel Moncrieffe has held leadership positions from the tactical to the strategic level at various echelons throughout his career. He commanded three times at the squadron level and served as the commander of the 11th Security Forces Group, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. His previous assignment was as the Deputy Director, Force Protection and Chief, Air National Guard Security Forces, National Guard Bureau, Maryland. Here he was responsible for organizing, training, and equipping more than 7,400 security force personnel assigned to 90 Air National Guard wings across 54 States and Territories ensuring security forces could meet both Federal and State mission requirements.
