Ms. Jo Anne M. Dimitriou is Executive Director of the Air Force Services Center, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.  AFSVC provides operational oversight and support for force support organizations assigned to the 84 worldwide major Air Force installations across active-duty major commands; the Air Force Reserve and the Air National Guard.  AFSVC maintains and executes Air Force services policies, procedures and Air Force-wide programs in support of over 50,000 military and civilian personnel generating over $2 billion in revenue to enhance force readiness, retention and recruitment; to include worldwide nonappropriated fund financial management and accounting systems, contracting and purchasing, data automation and information technology systems, and community and combat support program operations. 

Ms. Dimitriou shares executive management responsibilities with the AFSVC Commander.  She provides oversight, reach-back support and guidance to services and force support organizations worldwide to enhance the morale, welfare and operational mission readiness for all Air Force personnel. She maintains liaison with the headquarters, U.S. Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower and Personnel, the Director of Air Force services, the major command directors of manpower, personnel and services, the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, and with the other military departments on force support, morale, welfare and recreation programs of mutual interest.

Ms. Dimitriou is a graduate of H.H. Arnold American High School, in Wiesbaden, Germany, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland, European Division, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Troy State University.  During her Air Force career she has held a variety of positions in the morale, welfare and recreation; financial management; services and personnel fields.  She has served in positions including:   director, installations support project lead, resource manager, financial management specialist, training specialist, resource management flight chief and accounting manager.  She also held several other financial management positions overseas. Prior to her current position, she was chief, central civilian classification division, directorate of civilian integration, Air Force Personnel Center.
