Colonel Michal D. Holliday is the Commander, Detachment 2, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. He is responsible for synchronizing agile combat support and logistics, to include oversight, guidance, training, and resources in support of 45,000 PACAF personnel in 10 wings and 3 NAFs. Additionally, he manages personnel readiness, agile combat support manpower, financial services and resources, installation engineering, physical security, theater security cooperation, and base communication plant maintenance to provide support for 396 total force combat aircraft and $42.3 billion of infrastructure.
Colonel Holliday attended Brigham Young University and received his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps in August 1993. During 27 years of active duty service, he has held multiple positions at the air staff, headquarters, numbered air force and squadron levels.
Colonel Holliday has been assigned to twelve different installations in seven major commands, and deployed to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar and Pakistan. Prior to his current position, he served as the Chief, Civil Engineer Division, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
