Brian Roush

Mr. Brian Roush is Executive Director, Headquarters Air Force Services Center (HQ AFSVC), Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. He shares executive management responsibilities with the AFSVC commander to provide operational oversight and support for force support organizations assigned to Air Force, Space Force and Air Reserve installations and garrisons worldwide.  AFSVC enables field commanders and base level force support personnel to provide quality food service, fitness, lodging, recreation and resiliency programs, and child and youth programs for all eligible military personnel, civilians, retirees and their families. AFSVC delivers enterprise-wide nonappropriated fund (NAF) personnel oversight, financial management and accounting, information technology, contracting and purchasing capabilities to supported organizations.  Mr. Roush maintains liaison with the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Defense, Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower and Personnel, the Director of Air Force Services, major command directors of Manpower, Personnel and Services, and with other Department of Defense services on mutual interest morale, welfare and recreation (MWR) programs.  .  

Mr. Roush began his Air Force career in Nebraska as a NAF food service worker at the Offutt Officers’ Club in April 1984.  During his career, he progressed through several business operations positions at base and major command (MAJCOM)-level, directly supporting the deployed warfighting mission and in-garrison community at main operating bases and remote locations in the continental United States and overseas.  He has held numerous leadership positions including at the squadron, group, wing, MAJCOM and center level.  Prior to his current assignment, he was the 502nd Force Support Squadron director at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas.
