JANEVA R. MAXSON

Janeva R. Maxson is the Civilian Leader, Detachment 5, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. She provides installation and mission support capabilities, to include civil engineering, security forces and financial services to the Air Force District of Washington and National Capital Region. She also serves as the AFIMSC commander’s senior representative to the AFDW and the NCR.  
 
Ms. Maxson began her career with the Air Force in 1996. She has served in a variety of logistics, financial management and operational support positions. Prior to her current position, she was the deputy director, logistics, engineering and force protection, AFDW, Joint Base Andrews. In this position, she was responsible for the establishment and oversight of policy, guidance and procedures for assigned personnel worldwide, while supporting combatant commands, Joint Force Headquarters-NCR, as well as Air Force units at Joint Base Andrews, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Headquarters Air Force and NCR customers, including the President and the Secretariat of the Air Force.
